Data Centre Load Bank Testing
The deployment of load bank testing during data centre commissioning phases ensures that the infrastructure is able to perform to its ultimate design capability.
Workspace Technology recommends the deployment of “Server Simulators” which unlike traditional floor standing heat loads allow for a realistic evaluation of the computer room air conditioning, aisle containment and airflow as well as proving the performance and capability of UPS and generator equipment.
Server Simulator load banks are 19″ rack mountable. Four individually controlled heating elements deliver up to 4KW, with three fans to move air horizontally from the cold aisle inlet at the back of the enclosure, exhausting to the hot aisle.
Inlet and outlet temperatures can be monitored throughout the load testing when Netbotz environmental monitoring technology is deployed.

The deployment of Server Simulator load bank testers enables Workspace Technology to provide clients with accurate proof that the data centre infrastructure performs to the optimum design capability.

Workspace Technology further consolidates its position as an established partner with local government and education organisations.
