Wyre Forrest District Council

Many local government organisations have seen a reduction of budgets and the delay or cancellation of large capitol projects in the current economic climate.

Wyre Forrest District Council is no different from other LGO’s and the option to create a new purpose built facility in the short term was no longer financially viable.

As a result Workspace Technology worked in partnership with the Council to help develop a strategy to extend the life of the existing facility.

Workspace Technology completed a refresh to the Kidderminster Town Hall Server Room which will now enable the Council to deploy urgently needed I.T systems.

Infrastructure works includes the deployment of 2 x Power Tecnique rack mounted 30Kva Kasar UPS systems each with extended battery life designed to support over 3 hours run time for both critical and mechanical / cooling services.

In additional Workspace Technology has implemented an FM200 fire suppression system to provide enhanced room protection and risk mitigation.
