Workspace Technology commenced the design and build project for a four hall 3 Megawatt data centre for Torfaen County Borough / Welsh Assembly Government in March 2010. The main hall of this facility will provide for hosting services for the Welsh Assembly Government’s flagship Public Sector Broadband Aggregation (PSBA) network.

The PSBA network is designed to deliver a wide range of broadband, voice, video and data services across a secure, fast and reliable infrastructure. The high capacity optical core network operates at 2.5 Gbps, connecting health, higher and further education, unitary authorities and other organisations funded by the public sector.

The primary hall of this new facility will be used to provide a co-location / POP for the PSBA.
