Workspace Technology Ltd have been appointed by the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium. (NEUPC) to provide a range of Data Centre, Server and Communications room services across multiple University sites.

The contract will include for the design, build and implementation of data centre infrastructure, which will be delivered via Workspace Technology Ltd’s Data Centre Solutions Division.

The contract also includes for the supply of consultancy services and managed services, provided by Workspace Technology’s in house Professional Services Division.

The (NEUPC) is a leading UK Higher Education Purchasing consortia. Utilising a partnering approach the NEUPC operates as a centralised structure of over twenty high profile Universities. NEUPC’s vision – ‘To be the best collaborative partner that fully supports the procurement activity of our members’ – advocates working together to provide collaborative procurement support, guidance, systems and processes and agreements that are aligned to, and actively support our members needs, values and objectives. Annual member spend today is over £1billion.

This framework agreement set in place by NEUPC will also be made available to members of the English National Purchasing Consortium, and other public sector contracting authorities
