The Public Sector Broadband Aggregation (PSBA) programme is a Welsh Assembly Government led national shared service activity with other major Welsh public sector organisations in a partnership that is creating a national information & communications platform that enables greater efficiency and collaboration across the public sector to deliver improved services for the people of Wales.

PSBA delivers a wide range of broadband, voice, video and data services across a secure, fast and reliable infrastructure. The high capacity optical core network is complete and running at 2.5 Gbps, connecting health, higher and further education, unitary authorities and other organisations funded by the public sector.

The network that supports these services has been designed and built in Wales to meet the specific needs of the Welsh public sector.

As part of the PSBA development and new strategic data centre will be created in Blaenavon to host major PSBA clients. Workspace Technology based in Sutton Coldfield West Midland is proud to be selected to work with Torfaen County Borough and the Welsh Assembly Government to provide a complete design and build service for the 3MW data centre facility.
