Workspace Technology was founded 2004 by Roy Griffiths its current Managing Director. Roy previously worked as a sales and technical engineer for a number UK based global networking and infrastructure businesses. Workspace Technology was originally created to address the growing demands in the mid 2000’s for specialist Data Centre Design and Build expertise. Workspace Technology quickly established itself as trusted data centre partner helping many corporate and public sector organisations across the UK develop data centre infrastructure.

Workspace Technology engaged a diverse business strategy maintaining a parallel focus on both data centre and commercial building infrastructure.  During 2009 Workspace Technology qualified as an APC Elite Data Centre Partner further underpinning the business as one the UK’s leading data centre design and build specialists.

During 2010 Workspace Technology were proud to be one of the fastest growing SME technology businesses within the UK with unprecedented profitable growth in the most difficult trading conditions for over 30 years.

Workspace Technology created its Interiors Division during 2010, with an initial focus on commercial flooring solutions.

Workspace Technology Ltd has been ranked as the 21st fastest growing UK technology company by the Sunday Times Microsoft Top Tech 100 list in September 2011.
